Executive Directors

GINA COLEMAN, MA, OTR/L, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF PRACTICE AND EDUCATION
Gina Coleman is an occupational therapist and one of the founding directors of Pediatric Therapy Network. Having an honorary clinical faculty appointment with the University of Southern California, she has been very involved in the training of therapists utilizing sensory integrative concepts. Currently, Ms. Coleman is the Director of Practice at Pediatric Therapy Network where she is responsible for the quality of therapeutic services provided within the early intervention, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech & language programs.

ZOE MAILLOUX, MA, OTR/L, DIRECTOR OF RESEARCH AND ADMINISTRATION
Zoe Mailloux is nationally and internationally recognized within the profession of occupational therapy in the area of sensory integration theory and practice. Ms. Mailloux has also participated in test development and clinical research related to sensory integrative dysfunction and autism. She was a research assistant to Dr. A. Jean Ayres from 1978 to 1984 and was involved in many clinical and research projects with Dr. Ayres. In addition, she has published numerous journal articles and textbook chapters on these topics. Ms. Mailloux was the chairperson of the Sensory Integration Special Interest Section of the American Occupational Therapy Association from 1993 to 1996 and was named a fellow of this organization in 1993. She has received numerous accolades including an award of excellence from the Autism Research Foundation in 2003, being named the Wilma West Lecturer at the University of Southern California for 2004, receiving the A. Jean Ayres Award in 2005 and the Virginia Scardina Award of Excellence in 2008 from the American Occupational Therapy Foundation.

TERRI NISHIMURA, MA, OTR/L, DIRECTOR OF POLICY AND COMMUNITY AFFAIRS
Terri Nishimura is an occupational therapist and one of the founding directors of Pediatric Therapy Network. She is a voluntary clinical faculty member for USC's Dept. of Occupational Therapy & Occupational Science. Ms. Nishimura was appointed as a Los Angeles County Commissioner on the Policy Roundtable for Childcare she was instrumental in establishing a guide for child care centers to create a system for the identification and inclusion of children with special needs. These strategies will be included in the Steps to Excellence Program (STEP), an innovative new child care rating system that the County of Los Angeles is launching in the near future. She is also very active in the business community as the founder of the Nonprofit Coalition section of the Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce. She was recently recognized for our long-standing commitment to the community through the Torrance Chamber of Commerce.
