About Pediatric Therapy Network
Pediatric Therapy Network (PTN) was founded in 1996 by a handful of therapists, parents and volunteers who envisioned an organization that would provide the community with high quality therapy, research and education as it relates to fostering the best possible outcomes for children with special needs. PTN's founders committed themselves to building a high caliber resource for the many families who were struggling to find services for their children. With merely 5,000 square feet of space to provide treatment to the young clients, our dedicated group of therapists used equipment and materials that were donated or purchased at yard sales to conduct physical, occupational and speech therapy based on the sensory integration techniques taught by pioneer, Dr. Jean Ayres.

Coupled with a family-centered approach, PTN grew at a rapid pace to become an organization that has served thousands of children in the classrooms at hundreds of Los Angeles County schools and at our state-of-the-art clinic in Torrance. As an organization that provides over 100,000 hours of therapeutic intervention each year, our goal is to ensure that we are meeting the growing needs of the many children across Southern California. Today, PTN takes great pride in not only the success of the children who began with us 16 years ago but also the many staff members and volunteers who have also celebrated over a decade of service to our vast community.
