Mark your calendars: a Mandatory Volunteer and Staff Orientation on August 1st if you have 2 or less years of experience at Camp Escapades. We find that the orientation is helpful in teaching you how to work with our campers, giving you an overview of what to expect, introducing you to your group leaders and fellow volunteers, and expressing our appreciation that you choose to spend your free time participating in such a life-changing week for our campers! The date of the orientation is scheduled for Thursday, August 1st from 4pm - 6pm at Rolling Hills Country Day School located at 26444 Crenshaw Blvd in Rolling Hills Estates.
If this Orientation date is difficult for you to attend, please email emilys@ptnmail.org to make other arrangements.

Below you will find general information about our volunteer program.

Camp Escapades is considered one of the most popular youth volunteer activities in the South Bay. Many of our camp volunteers sign up year after year to participate in a rewarding and enjoyable opportunity to become a "white shirt" that serves as a camper's buddy during camp. Volunteers are over the age of 13 and receive an orientation as to what they can expect during their time at Camp Escapades. Volunteers not only enjoy a meaningful experience that gives back to the community but they also enjoy opportunities to build better leadership and social skills. Many of our youth volunteers are from South Bay high schools, volunteer organizations and and local colleges and universities.
