The Palos Verdes Pop Warner Program is offering a new football and cheer division this year! The Challenger Division is for children between the ages of 5 and 16 who are enrolled in school with physical or mental disabilities.

We would like to extend an invitation to all the members of the Pediatric Therapy Network to register their son or daughter in our new Challenger Flag Football Program. Registration for our Challenger Program is now available online at our Pop Warner Registration Site. The link to register is here and select the Challenger Flag Football and Cheer: Fall 2010 option on the site to begin the registration process.

The philosophy of the Pop Warner Challenger Division is simple - to provide a FUN structured flag football and cheer program for participants with special needs.

There is no fee to register children for the Palos Verdes Pop Warner Challenger Division Flag Football and Cheer Program. Please pass the word throughout the community that our program is available for the first time and we seek participants for the 2010 season: best of all it is offered with no cost to the participants or to their families. Participation is open to all South Bay children between the ages of 6 and 18. And again the cost is FREE.

We hope our program can offset insurance, legal and infrastructure costs as well as the end of the season banquet costs for Challenger Division participants and their families with sponsorships and donations. Additionally, we are looking for adult volunteers to coach the teams and high school students who would volunteer to serve as buddies for our Challenger flag football participants on game days.
