Summer Intensive Programs

Help your child with special needs, using Pediatric Therapy Network's Intensive Therapy Program!

joan summer intensives

  • Does your child have difficulty touching messy or sticky objects, or making and keeping friends?
  • Is your child a picky eater?
  • Does your child have difficulty changing routines?
  • Is your child exceptionally active and loud, or lethargic and minimally verbal?
  • Does your child feel lost at the playground or have poor coloring, drawing, writing or cutting skills?
Research shows our intensive immersed treatment approach is effective in treating sensory-based concerns. In most cases, children show more improvement when therapy is provided several times a week than when provided in single, weekly visits. The summer is a great time to overcome challenges before the school year begins. Therapy is provided on a 1:1 basis, usually for 20 or 30 visits over the course of 4 to 6 weeks.

Each child receives an individualized assessment and customized treatment plan that is coordinated with parent training and take-home strategies. Treatment is provided at our Torrance campus, which comprises 10 treatment spaces in over 30,000 square feet. Our clinic therapists are state licensed, board approved, SIPT trained, and specialize in working with special needs children. Visits may be covered by insurance.
