Expand Competency in Sensory Integration!
Attend a Unique Training Program Originated Dr. A. Jean Ayres, Ph.D., OTR For over 25 years, the University of Southern California Department of Occupational Science & Occupational Therapy has been offering an intensive four-month training program in sensory integration, originated by Dr. A. Jean Ayres, Ph.D., OTR, FAOTA. This world-renowned training program, informally known as USC course number "OT 610", and held at Pediatric Therapy Network in Torrance, California, provides small groups of occupational, physical and speech therapists graduate level training in the theory and intervention strategies of sensory integration. In addition, this program includes the certification needed to administer and interpret the Sensory Integration and Praxis Tests (SIPT). The OT 610 program is the only one of its kind in the world and since its inception in 1977, therapists from over 20 countries have participated in this unique experience.
