Jean Ayres, Ph.D., OTR For more than 25 years, the University of Southern California Division of Occupational Science & Occupational Therapy has offered an intensive training program in sensory integration, originated by Dr. A. Jean Ayres, Ph.D, OTR, FAOTA. This world-renowned training program held at Pediatric Therapy Network in Torrance, California, provides small groups of occupational, physical and speech therapists graduate-level training in the theory and intervention strategies of Ayres Sensory Integration®. In addition, this program includes the certification needed to administer and interpret the Sensory Integration and Praxis Tests (SIPT). The OT610/SI610 program is the only one of its kind in the world and since its inception in 1977, therapists from more than 30 countries have participated in this unique experience.
